COUPLE THERAPY COURSE

 based in Positive & Transcultural Psychotherapy 

Nurture stronger relationships through expert couple therapy. Our 9-module Couple Therapy Certificate blends the Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (PPT) framework with systemic, psychodynamic, and experiential approaches. This training gives therapists the tools and confidence to support couples with empathy, understanding, and skill, helping them navigate communication, intimacy, diversity, and life’s complex relational challenges.

What You Will Gain

By completing this training, you will be able to:

  • Work confidently with couples experiencing relational challenges

  • Apply systemic, psychodynamic, and integrative therapeutic models

  • Establish ethical frameworks, risk assessment, and clear boundaries in couple work

  • Support communication, intimacy, and conflict resolution between partners

  • Address issues of diversity, sexuality, and intersectionality in therapy

  • Help couples manage stress, transitions, and mental health challenges

Course Format & Details

  • Duration: 9 Modules × 10 Academic Hours 

  • Delivery: Online (live interactive sessions) or In-Person (where available)

  • Methodology: Lectures, case studies, role-play, experiential learning, peer discussion

  • Materials Included: Handouts, reading lists, worksheets, case examples

  • Certification: Participants will receive a Couple Therapy Certificate upon successful completion
